Druid Skills And Screen Control

The Druid stuff ties into this better than people might think at first glance. Vine Arrow and Toxic Growth looked fine on paper, but with the new limit scaling they go from “nice DoT skills” to “why is the boss health bar vanishing.” You can have a whole cluster of vines and pustules ticking at once, and once you get used to how they spread, you start shaping fights rather than reacting to them. You drag mobs through layers of growing damage instead of just kiting in circles. Frozen Locus finally counts as a proper limit skill too, which matters a lot. Stacking several cold fields and then detonating them with infusion feels like setting a trap in slow motion, then watching the whole screen pop at once. It is messy, the visuals are loud, but players who enjoy planning their battlefield are going to love it.

Cost, Economy And Early League Choices

There is a catch: this stuff is not cheap to set up early on. You need gem levels, you need high quality, and you need enough support links to make Overabundance worth the socket. That means the first few days of Fate of the Vaal are probably going to be brutal if you try to self-farm every piece. Quality currency, limit supports, and good bases for Druid builds are all going to spike while everyone experiments with the new tech. A lot of people are just going to cut the grind and trade straight into Overabundance or pre-rolled Druid gear as soon as they can.
