This section tracks the results of internal and external audits, including the implementation of "Lessons Learned" from recent case reviews. In a rapidly changing legal environment, the Board needs to know if the organization’s policies are still fit for purpose. Data on the frequency of policy updates and the percentage of staff who have read and acknowledged new guidance provides a measure of organizational agility. This strategic oversight is essential for future-proofing the organization against litigation and, more importantly, against avoidable harm.
