The upcoming season will consist of eight episodes.

Key cast members reprising their roles include Jaime King portraying Rose (King will additionally take on producing duties for the second season), Justin Chu Cary as Spears, and Christine Lee as Kyungsun. Further casting announcements are forthcoming.

This Netflix Studio production originated from the creative vision of Karl Schaefer, known for Z Nation, alongside John Hyams, director of Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning, who both serve as creators and executive producers. The writing and executive production team features John Hyams, Karl Schaefer, and Abram Cox, who previously collaborated on Z Nation. Hyams will assume showrunner responsibilities for the second season.
