Progression, Roles, and Why Practice Helps

Endgame progression has real teeth. Skill Tracks and Combat Ratings actually shape how you play, not just what badge you wear. A squad that talks it out first usually survives longer: one player built for heals and revives, one for crowd control, one for scouting and loot, one for pure damage. If you don't set that up, you'll feel it when the hazards stack and ammo gets tight. Practicing recoil patterns, testing attachments, and figuring out who carries what utility sounds boring, but it stops those mid-run arguments where everyone thought somebody else brought the med kit.

Keeping the Long War Going

What sells the mode is the sense that you're cleaning up a mess the campaign left behind, not ticking boxes on random missions. Factions you've already met are still out there, just more desperate and uglier around the edges, and Endgame drip-feeds lore while you're fighting for survival.
