Production has commenced in Odda for a fresh Norwegian series destined for Netflix's global audience.

This six-episode saga, titled 'Ragnarok,' reimagines ancient myths within a contemporary crisis of climate change.

The fictional town of Edda becomes the stage where environmental turmoil mirrors a potential apocalyptic event from legend.

Spearheading the project is acclaimed writer Adam Price, collaborating with a skilled team of Scandinavian producers.

A talented ensemble cast brings this modern myth to life, featuring both emerging and established Nordic actors.

David Stakston, recognized from 'Skam,' takes a central role alongside Jonas Strand Gravli and Theresa Frostad Eggesbø.

They are joined by Herman Tømmeraas, Emma Bones, and a roster of respected performers like Henriette Steenstrup and Bjørn Sundquist.

Each actor contributes a unique background, from award-winning festival films to popular television dramas.

The series is a production of SAM Productions, a company founded by leading creative minds in Danish storytelling.

Set for a 2020 release, 'Ragnarok' will join Netflix's diverse library, available to members worldwide without interruption.
