This study helps to identify challenges in processing times, instrument efficiency and variations in food ingredient interactions and therefore recommendations from food product development consultants and engineers becomes significant. Effective marketing emphasizes the unique selling points and the health benefits associated with the product. This will help to lure customers and drive sales. The final phase is the successful launch of the product that encompasses design, packaging, pricing and distribution. A successful launch is preceded by a pre-launch buzz that involves sharing tidbits of information through social media. This whets consumers’ appetites for the product. Public relations, digital campaigns and in-store promotions enable building brand awareness. Repeat product purchases is possible only by obtaining customer feedback and so the companies must focus on post-product launch analysis for consumer retention.
