The latest Netflix ISP Speed Index for June offers insights into which internet providers deliver optimal streaming quality during peak hours.

In Brazil, the live tim service experienced a speed decline, averaging 2.94 Mbps, down from 3.11 Mbps the previous month.

This shift allowed Net Virtua to claim the top spot despite a slight decrease from 3.07 Mbps to 3.04 Mbps.

Germany saw Unitymedia's steady progress, climbing two positions to reach second place with an average speed of 3.82 Mbps, up from 3.59 Mbps in May.

Austria's UPC saw a notable increase, boosting speeds by 0.68 Mbps to reach fourth place with 3.75 Mbps.

Meanwhile, in Indonesia, Infokom maintained its third-place ranking by increasing speeds marginally to 3.23 Mbps, a rise of 0.23 Mbps.

Across the Atlantic, Verizon Fios reclaimed the top position in the U.S. with an average of 3.61 Mbps.

The race among the leading providers remains close, with the top four—Bright House, Cablevision, Cox Communications, and Charter—differing by only 0.06 Mbps.

Upcoming changes will see Charter, Time Warner Cable, and Bright House merged into Charter Spectrum.

It’s important to note that the Netflix ISP Speed Index reflects streaming performance during prime time and does not assess overall internet performance for other services.
