ILM Selected for Visual Effects on Paramount's "Timeline"

Industrial Light & Magic has secured the visual effects contract for Paramount Pictures' upcoming medieval adventure film "Timeline," based on Michael Crichton's bestselling novel.

The film follows graduate students who undertake a perilous journey to 14th-century France to rescue their history professor. Paul Walker from "The Fast and the Furious" and Gerald Butler of "Dracula 2000" are set to star, with veteran director Richard Donner overseeing the project.

Production is scheduled to begin this April in Canada, with APG producing and targeting a summer 2003 release.
