The main complaint with Loot Boxes is the fact that they are paying for random items. From this day,  EA FC 26 is offering what EA calls Ultimate Team Preview packs which allow players to review the contents of the packs prior to purchasing them, ensuring they be aware of what they're purchasing. These packs can be bought using either or the FUT Coins currency with FUT 26 Coins (which is only earned through the game) and FIFA Points (which must be purchased with cash).

Presently, EA is running a Festival of FUTball campaign in  EA FC 26 and these new Preview Packs will be the sole loot boxes that are available during its duration. They won't replace the standard loot boxes with the ones that will return after the campaign is over.

It is important to note that the packs' previews don't reveal whether the items included can be considered duplicates and if a user decides not to buy one after reviewing the contents, they can't preview a pack similar to it until the timer has run out. There is only one way to get around timers is to buy an item, and this resets the timer. An in-depth explanation of the process can be found on the EA website.

One reason EA might have chosen to go this route is that it's trying out new ways to earn money prior to FC 26. which should be released later in the year (even although it's not officially announced). The company has already begun with selling cosmetics directly to its customers.

While EA isn't acknowledging it in its announcement, it could be in response to gambling laws as well as the ever-growing argument that FIFA games contain gambling mechanics. For instance the Dutch government has ruled that gaming loot boxes as well and required that EA take them out of the game or pay fines, which EA has appealed. If this is to become a frequent problem for EA the preview packs could serve as an opportunity to sell boxes of loot but still comply with gambling laws.

 EA FC 26 Ultimate Team has been dominating by players who have in-form season-long team cards and FUT champions rewards. It's difficult even within lower levels to locate any team that does not have the 85 rating of a player. However, these teams can be defeated by players who have ratings in the 70s.

There are silver players that are able to play against the top-rated cards that are available. The players should not be compelled to play with the top-rated cards they have in their collection because statistics and characteristics are more crucial in game. Even legends can have difficulty controlling the speed, strength and dribbling of lower silver cards.

This card is lightning-fast with five-star abilities which are dangerous when playing silver games. Silas Wamangituka's 83-agility with cheap Fut 26 Coins can make him believe that he is able to dribble better than he actually has. But 77 dribbling isn't enough for a graded silver. Although Wamangituka's stats may not be as impressive, nothing beats the team's dribbling with a sweaty five star player and this one is ideal for the task.
