One of RuneScape's oldest quests, Shield of Arrav, introduced players to the novel idea of cooperation in a solo MMO. To RuneScape gold complete it, you need another player—each joining opposing gangs—to help you retrieve the two halves of a powerful shield.

Sounds easy? Try finding someone in the opposite gang who's online and willing to help. Even seasoned players remember scouring Varrock, begging for a partner because everyone joined the same faction.

It's short, but the sense of community and shared accomplishment sticks with you, especially if you both managed to finish it at the same time.

One Small Favour

The Never-Ending Chain of Favors

It begins innocently: someone asks you to fetch something simple. But that task requires doing a favor for someone else… which requires doing another favor… and another… until suddenly you've traveled across the entire map performing errands for half of Gielinor.

One Small Favour is notorious for being deceptively massive. By the time you complete it, you'll have questioned your sanity at least twice. Trolls, gang members, pirates, and boulder-pushing puzzles await.

Still, it's remembered fondly for its sheer absurdity. It's the most RuneScape quest ever—ridiculous, sprawling, and a hilarious satire of buy OSRS GP fetch quests themselves.
