Cockatrices are located in the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon,which is situated to the south of Rellekka. To access this dungeon,players can use the Fairy Ring network (code AJR) or make the trip from Seers' Village. Once inside,you'll need to RuneScape gold navigate through the dungeon's twisting passages to find the Cockatrices. It's a relatively straightforward location to reach,though it can be a bit tricky if you're unfamiliar with the area.
Equipment for Range

When taking on Cockatrices with ranged combat,your primary goal is to boost your damage output and maintain high defense. A good choice for armor would be the best tier of dragonhide armor you can equip,as it provides excellent protection against their attacks and boosts your ranged accuracy. For ammunition,Amethyst arrows are a solid,cost-effective option,offering a balance of damage and affordability. However,if you're willing to spend a little more,Rune arrows can provide an even higher damage output. Don't forget to use Ava's device if you have access to it,as it will automatically retrieve your arrows,saving you money in the long run.

Equipment for Melee

For melee combat,it's crucial to maximize both your offensive and defensive stats. The best gear for melee would include the highest-level platebody and platelegs/plateskirt you can afford,such as Rune,Dragon,or Adamant. These will significantly improve your defensive capabilities.
