Originally developed for rally drivers, the revolutionary Edox Chronorally was initially presented in 2008 with its sophisticated technical functions and distinct oversized start/stop pusher, making it a public favorite and official watch of many rally racing events. This Chronorally features a 45 mm titanium case that holds a black carbon fiber dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and is bordered by a fixed bezel. It has black and luminescent sword hands, applied red indices and Arabic numerals at the 1, 2, 4 and 5 o'clock positions as hour markers while a tachymeter scale also runs along the flange parallel to the minute track. Three subdials located at the 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions display the 12-hour, 60-second and 30-minute counters respectively while a discreet date aperture sits at the 3 o'clock position. The crown flanked with pushers, one of which is distinctly oversized and red in color operate the time, date, and chronograph functions. This watch is equipped with a black rubber strap and is extra secured by a titanium master lock buckle. This watch has a screw-on exhibition caseback showcasing the Sellita-based Caliber 011, a Swiss automatic chronograph movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, generating up to 48 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet.
