Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) was founded by the Vidhya Peeth Education Trust in 2006, a period when the state and NCR were eager to cultivate world-class technocrats and managers. PIET emerged as a self-financed initiative by a private management team committed to quality technical education.
