A brand new animated series featuring the beloved Angry Birds is set to land on Netflix in collaboration with Cake and Rovio Entertainment.

Entitled "Angry Birds: Summer Madness," this exciting series will consist of 40 episodes, each running approximately 11 minutes.

Scheduled for a global launch in 2021, it will capture the whimsical humor and spirit reminiscent of the Angry Birds movie franchise while introducing a vibrant visual style.

In this series, fan favorites Red, Bomb, and Chuck, alongside new feathered companions, will navigate the ups and downs of summer camp life, all under the dubious supervision of their counselor, Mighty Eagle.

Fans can look forward to a whirlwind of hilarious antics, outrageous pranks, and unforgettable summer escapades as these birds push limits and face off against the troublesome pigs across the lake, who are determined to create chaos.

This initiative marks a significant addition to the ongoing relationship between Cake and Rovio, which previously facilitated the international distribution of Rovio's expanding catalog of animated shorts.
