U4GM Guide to Getting the Sundergat in Paradox Junction BO7
Since Season 02 Reloaded, Paradox Junction has been the kind of place where one sloppy rotate gets you boxed in and deleted. If you're trying to practise routes or just get consistent with spawns before you commit to a long run, stuff like a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby can help you warm up without the whole match turning into a mess. Either way, the goal down here is simple: get the Sundergat, because normal guns stop feeling "normal" once the rounds climb.
Build the Blundergat first
You can't skip the base craft. The Sundergat quest won't even behave unless the Blundergat is already in your hands. So you're hunting four parts around the map, then hauling them back to the Cul-de-Sac Workbench. It's the one that looks like it's seen a thousand bad ideas: oil marks, heavy vice, that "garage project" vibe. Learn the path to it. You'll be running there mid-round, out of breath, with a train behind you. When you finally assemble the quad-barrel, don't waste ammo showing it off. Keep it ready for the next step.
Blue-flame tornado zombies and the bench trap
After that, you're basically on babysitting duty. Watch for the Blue-Flame Fire Tornado Zombies, usually popping right as a round flips. They're loud, bright, and they'll tempt your squad into blasting them instantly. Don't. Clear the regular runners first so the escort doesn't get messy, then walk the blue-flame zombie over to the workbench like you're leading a stubborn dog. You need two of them dropped at the bench, one at a time. If a teammate panics and kills it early, you're waiting around for another spawn and it feels awful.
Tortured Mimic and the timeline swap
Once the second tornado zombie goes down at the bench, the Tortured Mimic shows up and it's not a quick kill. Keep space. Don't let it corner you in the cul-de-sac. Drag it to the same workbench spot and finish it using the Blundergat, because that kill is what "charges" the upgrade. Then comes the time travel bit: you need the Past version of Nuketown, the one that isn't wrecked. You can wait for the round shift or pay to use a golden portal. Find the Past workbench, smack it with a melee, and place your Blundergat down. Warp back to the present and watch the transform animation, but stay sharp—Rad-Hounds love to show up and their toxic blasts will ruin the calm moment.
Using the Sundergat without throwing the run
When it's done, the Sundergat isn't just stronger, it's safer. Those firing modes let you control space, reset bad pushes, and keep your train from collapsing when the map gets crowded. Still, don't get lazy: reload timing matters, and you'll want a clean loop near the bench area because you're going back there a lot. If you're also looking to speed up your prep—essence, items, or other help that gets you into the fun part faster—it's worth checking what U4GM offers while you plan your next attempt.
