Originally manufactured using natural rubber, these cables now incorporate synthetic elastomers that significantly enhance lifespan and performance.

The insulation layer separates electrical conductors and prevents short circuits or blowouts. Due to this protective capability, Elastomeric Cables are widely deployed across sectors such as mining, water management, renewable energy, and nuclear power facilities.

High-tension elastomeric cables operate above 1000 volts and are designed to withstand high temperatures and pressure conditions. Their superior elasticity and mechanical strength make them ideal for heavy-duty installations. Low-tension control cables function below 1000 volts and are appreciated for their heat resistance and ability to carry high electrical loads safely.

Flexible elastomeric insulated cables are highly durable and resistant to environmental stress and chemicals. These characteristics make them suitable for moving equipment and industrial machinery exposed to vibration and harsh surroundings.

Specialized components also form part of the elastomeric cable family. Double cotton coated copper ropes are used in instruments and transformers up to 220 kV. Elastomeric battery cables used in railways and automotive engines resist corrosion from acids, salt, and moisture. Medium and low voltage elastomeric cables insulated with EPR or XLPE polymers provide strong mechanical properties and aging resistance.

Composite Elastomeric Cables can transmit power at voltages exceeding 1100 volts and consist of multiple twisted conductors for stable performance. Their structure enhances conductivity and reliability in demanding applications.

Another benefit is adaptability. These cables can be manufactured according to specific technical requirements, ensuring compatibility with diverse electrical systems and industrial standards.
