What’s exciting is how all these changes fit together. The shift to a standalone game means the devs can push boundaries without worrying about legacy systems breaking. The skill gem revamp opens the door for creative builds, while the new classes add variety right from the start. Players who’ve been around since the original release can see how much cleaner and more modern the design feels. And for newcomers, it’s easier to jump in without feeling buried under a mountain of outdated mechanics.
