Before the official launch of Call of Duty Mobile, the game’s beta version included instructions for using controllers, sparking speculation about potential support. However, Activision either decided to remove this feature or simply did not implement it in the final release, with reports differing on the specifics. Despite this setback, hope remains for controller support to eventually be integrated.

Recently, the game’s developers addressed fan inquiries regarding controller compatibility in a community update. They acknowledged the strong demand for such a feature, stating, “We understand that many players are eager for controller support.” The team confirmed that they are currently testing this functionality and are considering adding it in the future, emphasizing the importance of proper implementation and game balance before release. They assured players to “stay tuned” for further updates.

The primary obstacle to introducing controller support appears to be concerns over game balance. A controller could potentially provide advantages, such as more precise aiming and easier grenade throws—an issue highlighted in reviews of the game. Conversely, touchscreen players might benefit from quicker reaction times or more intuitive controls in certain situations. Ultimately, the developers seem committed to ensuring that any addition of controller support maintains fair gameplay for all players.

Although official confirmation regarding controller support for Call of Duty Mobile has not yet been provided, developers are actively exploring the possibility. Fans eager for this feature can remain optimistic, as the development team has indicated ongoing consideration.

Recently, the Call of Duty Mobile community update offered a glimpse of upcoming content and events. Highlights included a limited-time free-for-all mode and a double XP weekend, exciting players with new opportunities to enhance their gameplay experience. Additionally, the update hinted at a significant reveal scheduled for Monday, October 14, suggesting the return of a beloved "classic" element.

Speculation is rife about what this could entail—perhaps a new map, a fresh game mode, or even a resurrected feature from previous titles. Notably, popular modes like Gun Game and Kill Confirmed have yet to debut in the mobile version, leaving room for anticipation.

There’s also speculation that the teased content might involve a Zombies mode, which could be featured prominently on the game's main screen. Whatever the announcement, fans will have to wait until October 14 to discover the full details.

Call of Duty Mobile remains accessible on both iOS and Android devices, offering a diverse array of gameplay experiences. Stay tuned for the upcoming update to see what surprises await.
