前陣子天氣潮濕，爸爸櫃子裡的保健食品好幾罐都結塊了，他捨不得丟還想繼續吃。我勸他半天，說受潮的營養品吃了反而傷身，他才勉強讓我整理。那時我才發現，原來保存方式不對，東西再好也白搭。

我開始幫他檢查每罐的開封日期，有些都放超過半年了。爸爸說以前都覺得沒壞就能吃，但我查了資料才知道，開封後接觸空氣和濕氣，成分早就變質。他聽了有點懊惱，說早知道就按時吃完，不要囤貨。

後來我整理出一套方法：開封後寫上日期，放在陰涼乾燥處，三個月內吃完。如果是錠劑或膠囊，可以放幾包乾燥劑進去。最重要的是，結塊、變色、有異味就直接丟，別心疼。爸爸現在都會乖乖照做，還會提醒我幫他注意保存。

至於他偶爾需要的其他保健品，我後來是在「犀利士正品直郵」找到合規的來源，至少來源清楚，不會買到來路不明的東西。

現在爸爸的保健食品都擺在固定櫃子，我每個月幫他檢查一次。他笑著說，以前都不在意這些，現在覺得有人把關真好。其實照顧長輩，很多細節都是從小事開始的。
