U4GM Best Loot Zones for Elephant Obelisk in Arc Raiders

Some loot in Arc Raiders feels memorable because it helps you win a fight, and some loot matters because it quietly blocks your progress until you finally get it. The Elephant Obelisk falls into that second group. It's the sort of trinket players stop treating like flavor text the moment Converging Paths starts asking for it, and that's usually when a lot of people begin checking ARC Raiders BluePrints and similar progression items with a lot more attention than they expected.

Why the search feels annoying

The real pain here isn't that the Elephant Obelisk is tied to a special boss or some dramatic event. It's the opposite. It's random world loot, which means your success comes from clearing enough interiors and opening enough containers to let RNG finally cooperate. In practice, that usually means drawers, lockers, suitcases, shelves, and the usual clutter inside residential and commercial buildings. A lot of players waste time assuming there must be a hidden trick or a specific chest type, but from what I've seen, the item is more about consistency than luck manipulation. The mistake is thinking you need to "hunt" it directly. You don't. You need to run efficient loot routes and keep your pace high.

Where players usually have the best luck

Dense indoor maps tend to do the heavy lifting here. Dam Battlegrounds is the place most people lean on because it's easy to move through quickly on Normal and you can spend more time opening containers than fighting for your life. Buried City also has a strong case thanks to its apartment-heavy layout, while Blue Gate village interiors and Spaceport buildings can be worth the detour if your route is tight and you're not wandering around half the map. The map itself matters less than the amount of lootable clutter you can reach before the area gets noisy. In other words, a fast, boring run often beats a heroic one. That's the part some players miss, especially the ones who keep chasing fights and then wonder why their inventory is empty.

The progression trap most people run into

Converging Paths Stage 4 is where the Elephant Obelisk stops being a nice find and turns into a real gate. You need one, plus 9 ARC Coolant, 6 Light Bulb, and 3 Tellurion, so if it drops for you, don't treat it like junk you can sort out later. Extracting safely matters more than squeezing out one extra room, because losing the item in a bad push feels awful and sends you back into the same grind. I wish I'd been more disciplined about that early on. The temptation is always to keep looting "just a little longer," but that's usually when a good run turns into a lost one. For progression items like this, the smart move is to cut your losses and leave while the raid still feels clean.

How to make the grind less miserable

The best habit is to build routes that clear interiors quickly without overcommitting to combat. Think short loops, quick checks, and a clean exit path instead of sprawling across the whole zone. That approach fits both casual players and the more grind-minded crowd, though they'll feel it differently. Casual players usually want the run to be safe and predictable, while harder-core players care more about volume and speed. Either way, the same truth applies: more containers means more rolls at the drop. Once you understand that, the grind gets easier to stomach, even if RNG still decides when your luck finally flips. And if you'd rather save time than run the same loot circuit all night, some players will simply choose to buy ARC Raiders Items and move on with the part of the game they actually want to play.
