The first section is VARC, the second section is CAT DILR and the last section is QA. There are a total of 68 questions in the exam, and students have 120 minutes as an overall time limit. There is a sectional time limit for every section of 40 minutes. Students need to complete all the questions within the 40 minutes; otherwise, there will be no option for the students to go back and make any changes once the time limit is over. The marking scheme of the CAT exam is also simple. 3 marks are awarded for every correct answer, and there is a negative marking of 1 mark  for incorrect MCQ type questions. There is no negative marking for TITA questions.
